Great things are happening at museums across Oklahoma, from exciting traveling exhibitions to in-depth learning opportunities for students, teachers and the general public.
With funding at an all-time low, several districts have had to cut their field trips. Museums are responding to this challenge by offering outreach programming to those who might not otherwise have the chance to visit them.
There are almost 300 fine art, history and science museums, zoological parks and tribal cultural centers represented in our state that are making superb connections to the arts. Seek out what is being offered in your community, share this information with your colleagues, and find stimulating ways to make connections to the arts through the collections, exhibitions and programs offered by Oklahoma museums.
