HELPING SENIORS THE EASY WAY
OKLAHOMA STATE PORTFOLIO DAY
If you are part of an art department at a college, university, art institute, you know that part of your job is helping art students reach a decision about the “next” art step after high school. Will they be going further in their education? What are their goals? Should they pursue more art training? How do they decide on a higher ed institution? OAEA and the Oklahoma City Museum of Oklahoma have made your job easier. You can meet these senior face to face with samples of their work.
Portfolio Day
We set the date early enough so all of the colleges, universities, art institutes have time to view high school work, invite students to your school and even offer scholarships. You are in a place to help the students make that all important decision. The art department reps meet these young artists and give them important advice. Put this date on your calendar now and plan on making this a “must do”.
