Each year you have the opportunity to nominate someone for honors in their area to be honored at the Fall Conference and at the NAEA Convention. You can nominate in the following categories:

Oklahoma Art Educator of the Year

Elementary Art Educator

Middle School Art Educator

Secondary Art Educator

Higher Ed. Art Educator

Museum Art Educator

Retired Art Educator

A Nomination packet consists of the following:
1) A Nomination Form,
2) A one-page letter on Nomination,
3) Vita form – page 1,
4) Vita form – page 2,
5) Letter of Support no. 1 (one page max)
6) Letter of Support no. 2 (one page max)
7) Photo – 4X6 or digital image on CD
Nomination packets are due in July or August of each year.

OAEA uses the same nomination packet used by NAEA. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the NAEA web site – find these under the Grants and Opportunities top tab, Click on NAEA Awards on the left and look for the tool kit on the right side of that page.
